The World Missions Summit
4,200 students, and missionaries gathered together to hear God’s heart for World missions. 661 students signed up to spend one year after they graduate, on the mission field with full time missionaries. This was an incredible conference and one that will have a lasting effect on students, and the World! Both of our students signed up!
The main Gatherings were charged with music and we heard many missionaries share stories and scripture relating to missions. The Exhibits in the exhibit hall were incredible. Each region of the world worked together to bring part of their world to ours. We rode on a rickshaw, sat on pillows, ate in a Yurt and danced with missionaries who were dressed in traditional clothing from their countries. The missions’ experiences were another chance to enter into a foreign world. Missionaries played the rolls of beggars, boarder guards, venders, etc. The experiences were multi sensory and incredibly well done.
