Eric and Sarah Lovejoy are alumni to Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at PSU, as well as having already served Chi Alpha at Plymouth State as Campus Ministers for fourteen years, so far. The couple remains enthusiastic as they continue to serve students in a way that helps them to achieve their utmost value in spiritual leadership during their time at PSU.
The Lovejoys have been married for fifteen years, after meeting each other at Chi Alpha as students, and have four children–Jared, Caleb, Chloe and Phoebe. Currently they are expecting another child to join their family. Life is never dull in the Lovejoy household!
Eric received a combination undergraduate degree in business and political science from Plymouth State. He also served as Vice President in Student Government at Plymouth State, spent a semester in Washington DC at American University and then traveled around the Globe on a Semester at Sea.
After spending two years at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and receiving his masters, Eric has become a very gifted teacher in theology. However, he loves to strike up a good conversation on just about anything! Eric is extremely devoted to his family while also enjoying hiking, skiing, camping, golf and landscaping.
Sarah currently multi tasks as a Stay-at-home-Mom and an assistant with Chi Alpha. While raising her children she is often behind the scenes serving Chi Alpha. However, Sarah and the Lovejoy children, are still very active in holding XA gatherings at the house, XA retreats, and travels to all conferences. Sarah’s greatest asset to Chi Alpha is that she loves to cultivate close relationships will all people and has a compassionate heart towards others. Sarah’s passions are adoption advocacy, being current and relational through means of modern technology, camping, learning about other cultures and languages, Ballet, flower gardening and playing with her two dachshunds.
